The Gladiator was handed to Russell Crowe at the Magna Grecia Film Festival in Catanzaro. Body and neck from a single piece of chestnut with half a century of natural seasoning, a walnut fretboard of the same age, tuners, bridge and pickups built in the workshop.
The pickguard is a gladiator helmet, inlaid into the wood rather than painted onto it.
