What sets it apart
The extended horns are not styling
They move where the strap holds the instrument, and with it the balance: the headstock stops dropping and the left hand goes back to playing instead of holding. On a guitar you use standing up for two hours, that is the difference you feel the next day.
Twenty-four frets, always
Not one option out of two: the Nemesis is drawn around two full octaves, and the neck pickup already sits where that layout wants it. Nobody comes to this model looking for the voice of a twenty-two.
Black with micro-flake
Standing still it is a full gloss black. Catch it with a raking light and the micro-flake suspended in the finish lights up, and the colour shifts with the angle: it photographs badly and looks superb in the room. Black is the standard — other colours are chosen at the order.
The whole of it
Fenice, headstock to bridge.

Photographs of Fenice
The black
The micro-flake lights up edge-on.
Twelve seconds on the body, no editing. Held still it is a full black; as the light crosses it edge-on, the micro-flake suspended in the finish lights up. It is the one thing about this guitar a photograph cannot say.

With the tone control up
The push-pull on the tone leaves both humbuckers running on one coil: on an instrument built for low tunings, that is how you get definition back without changing pickups.
